What is Just ask?

Just ask is a brand which aims to make services and facilities accessible to those living with a sensory loss.

The three facets of the Just Ask brand are:

• A checklist of areas to consider when an organisation is looking at the accessibility of the public areas of their premises.
• Information on how to get your publications transcribed in to alternative formats as well as details on how to book a BSL interpreter or deafblind guide communicator.
• A half day training course in sensory impairment awareness delivered by service users which will offer practical advice, information as well as a wide range of practical senarios and solutions.

Once an organisation has become Just Ask Accredited they will receive a wide range of publicity materials which will help raise their public profile as well as helping to raise public awareness of the Just Ask campaign.
